Our team handles bass management, channel balancing and the surround imaging that places audiences inside a scene, then prints the masters a Belgian release demands. Theatrical projects receive a DCI-aligned cinema mix, while broadcast versions are conformed to EBU R128 loudness because Belgian public TV networks are EBU members and enforce those tech specs.

Here is how that works. Belgium's multilingual structure means we routinely prepare parallel Dutch, French and English mix passes so a single production reaches Flemish and Walloon audiences without compromise. We supervise fold-down checks to confirm the mix translates cleanly to stereo and headphone playback. We set up with picture finishing so surround stems, printmasters and deliverable specs all align with the final delivery schedule for cinema, broadcast or streaming release.

Here is the layout. Belgium's Tax Shelter incentive has built a deep post-prod cluster. Surround mixing sits naturally within sites that also handle the wider audio chain. Features from Belgian auteurs including the Dardenne brothers, Lukas Dhont and Felix van Groeningen carry immersive soundtracks finished on home-grown stages, and 'The Broken Circle Breakdown' showed how a Belgian feature could pair a layered music-driven mix with global theatrical reach.

Here is how the work shapes up. In practice, the work is hands-on. The festival pipeline through Film Fest Gent and the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival sets clear expectations for DCI-compliant surround masters. We prepare deliverables to those standards. For broadcast clients on Een, Canvas, La Une and the commercial channels VTM and RTL Belgium, our mixes meet EBU loudness specs and fit Streamz and other streaming endpoints. Music rights are cleared through SABAM where scored material is involved. Each printmaster is archived for future restoration or re-versioning.
