Here is the breakdown. We set up talent for shoots in Belgium, managing the logistics that keep cast ready, prepared and looked after through the shoot. Our team handles call scheduling, contracts and releases, travel and lodging, and the day-to-day liaison between performers, their agents and the production. Because Belgium has two main language communities, we set up Dutch-speaking and French-speaking talent and speak with each in the right language, and we manage the extra needs that come with minors, stunt performers and pro roles. We align talent costs and engagements with the qualifying-expenditure rules of the Belgian Tax Shelter and the support frameworks of the VAF, Screen Flanders, Wallimage and screen.brussels, and we keep records organised for funding and audit purposes.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Belgium's pool of acting talent is worldwide proven, which makes planning here both rewarding and demanding. Belgian actors such as Matthias Schoenaerts, Cécile de France and Jérémie Renier work across borders, and the country's cinema — from the Dardenne brothers' Palme d'Or-winning dramas to Lukas Dhont's 'Close' — has built a generation of performers trained at INSAS and RITCS. We manage talent across the country's compact geography, planning travel so cast move efficiently between Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and Liège, and we give attentive on-set care that keeps performers focused. Our planning makes sure that contractual duties, GDPR-compliant handling of personal data under the APD/GBA, and the practical needs of a busy shoot are all managed so the production runs smoothly.
