They manage relationships between the production, the post sites and the TV networks or platforms, work fluently across Dutch, French and English, and keep a project moving cleanly from picture lock to delivery.

This channels the finishing and VFX work of many overseas shoots into Belgian sites and has built a deep, skilled post community. Supervisors here are used to handling work that arrives part-finished from elsewhere, to the country's strong VFX and animation sector — rooted in Belgium's celebrated comics heritage — and to delivering for the public TV networks VRT and RTBF as well as global streaming sites. The crew base is multilingual and trained through the country's film schools and the apprenticeship route of working post houses.
