Here is what that looks like on the ground. We give full-service production support for feature films across Belgium, setting up each logistical element from pre-production through wrap. Our teams handle crew assembly, gear sourcing, location scouting, permits and daily operations, scaling from compact indie crews to large studio-backed shoots. Belgium's compact geography delivers remarkable variety within short distances: medieval streetscapes in Bruges and Ghent, Art Nouveau Brussels, historic estates and châteaux, industrial settings and the North Sea coast — the city of Bruges itself stood in for its own medieval centre in 'In Bruges' (2008). We give Dutch-, French- and English-speaking crews, set up costume houses and prop suppliers for period shoots, and guide shoots through co-production treaties and the Belgian Tax Shelter to maximise qualifying spend.

Belgium's feature-film credibility is top for a country of its size. The Dardenne brothers won the Palme d'Or twice, for 'Rosetta' in 1999 and 'L'Enfant' in 2005. Lukas Dhont took the Grand Prix at Cannes for 'Close' in 2022. And 'The Broken Circle Breakdown' and 'Bullhead' earned Best Foreign Language Film Oscar nominations for Felix van Groeningen and Michaël R. Roskam. The avant-garde legacy of Chantal Akerman runs alongside this modern strength.

Here is how that works. The Belgian Tax Shelter has made the country a major hub for global co-productions, VFX and post-prod, supported by regional funds — the VAF and Screen Flanders, Wallimage and screen.brussels — and festivals such as Film Fest Gent, host of the World Soundtrack Awards. This gives feature shoots access to award-calibre crews and a proven incentive framework.
